| Portable Loafing Sheds |
Our 3-sided, single sloped, portable loafing sheds are constructed of 14 gauge square steel tubing
(non-coated), welded together to form the frame, then sheeted with 29 gauge colored sheeting on the roof
and walls. We offer 17 different colors to choose from (Color Chart) for your roof, walls, and trim.
The sheds are standard 8-foot tall in the front with a 2-foot overhang (giving you approximately 7'-6" clear
head room at the overhang), and 7-foot tall in the rear. For an additional fee you can increase the height of
your shed. We do not recommend going any taller than 10 feet in the front.
Our optional kick panel consists of 18 gauge galvanized steel, 4 foot tall. Animals cannot kick through it, it
won't rust, and unlike wood, horses cannot chew on it. This kick panel will never have to be replaced.
We anchor our sheds by welding log chain to the four corners of the shed. This chain is then dropped in a
3-foot hole, along with one bag of Quickrete in each hole. There are no sharp edges sticking out of the
ground or the shed for animals to get hurt on. We have never lost a building anchored this way. To move
the shed, simply cut the chain, move your shed to the new location, add an add-a-link and additional chain,
and put the chain back in a hole with Quickrete.
We also offer tack rooms/storage sheds with fully-sheeted fronts, walk doors, windows, floors - you choose
your options.
All sheds are built on site. We do not offer kits.
